About

Instructor: Faydra D. Fields

Faydra was using the Internet before most of her family and friends even knew about the World Wide Web (yes, the Internet and the Web are two different things).

She has been a webmaster and Web designer/developer for more than 20 years; almost seven of which were as a soldier in the U.S. Army.

Since 2006, Faydra has been a computer applications/web languages/social marketing trainer in the Washington, DC, area, (which is actually when she formed HDTrain) training others to use (X)HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, AJAX, PHP/MySQL and Adobe applications, like Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Illustrator and Photoshop, to design/develop websites for personal and professional use.

Faydra uses social media on a daily basis and also teaches social media classes, which include “Social Media Overview,” “Marketing with Social Media” and “WordPress for Blogs.” Faydra also teaches search engine optimization (SEO) classes.

She is also an instructor at Northern Virginia Community College in Woodbridge, VA. She teaches Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Muse, HTML5 and CSS3, Bootstrap, Getting Good at Grammar, Facebook, Twitter & Google+ for Absolute Beginners and WordPress Bootcamp.

Faydra doesn’t consider herself a “guru” or “expert”, but she will tell you that she’s a “Most Things Web” consultant.
